SC Villa coach Edward Kaziba showed his delight with the new signings after the club’s victory on Wednesday.

Villa beat Mbarara City 3-0, ignited by new signing Isaac Ogwang’s brace and a Derrick Ndahiro penalty.

“Today we have played our first home game and its good that we have won it, it was generally a good start especially today where we have fielded in new players and they they have performed so well,” Kaziba stated after the 3-0 win on Wednesday.

Ogwang scooped the man of the match award while Goffin Oyirwoth also impressed on the day with an assist. Meddie Kibirige in goal contributed with a clean sheet.

Kaziba is confident that his new signings will continue to make an impact in more games to come.

“It has been very good that we collected maximum points but the most important thing was that, our new players are picking up, it’s a very good gesture, it gives us hope that we have a good future.

“Its a good gesture and its where we have to build on, we want to see winning more games so we want to work hard because there are things we need to rectify which we are working on and we are going to be able to collect points.”
