Wakiso Giants will welcome back Lawrence Bukenya from an injury when they play host to Kyetume FC on Tuesday at Wakissha.

Bukenya missed the opener as his side played a goalless draw with Police FC at Lugogo on Match-day one.

The midfielder played for the Purple Sharks on loan from KCCA last season before sealing a permanent move in the concluded window from a club he had played for since 2017.

Midfielder Joshua Lubwama will miss the Tuesday encounter after he was taken off at halftime against Police.

Pius Kaggwa, Tom Masiko, Alex Komakech, Ayub Kisaliita and goalkeeper Katende remain sidelined.

“We are generally happy to play our first game at home with a familiar opponent,” said Bamweyana.

“Tomorrow we want to get all the three points and start from there. We are happy we will joined by Bukenya.”

Kyetume FC on the other hand, will also be targeting maximum points having drawn their opener against newcomers Kitara FC at Njeru.

Both sides are playing in their second season in top flight.

Amos Muwonge, Karim Ndugwa and Viane Ssekajugo were each on target as Wakiso beat Kyetume on the road in November last year.

In the second round, February this year, Gadafi Wahab equalised after Feni Ali had put Kyetume in the lead in a 1-1 draw at Wakissha.
