Silverbacks star Jimmy Enabu is excited after he was named the best basketball player at the ForteBet Real stars monthly awards.
He has been instrumental as the Silverbacks finished second of group E at the first window of the 2021 FIBA Afrobasket Qualifiers in Alexandria Egypt where he averaged 18.5 points.
Enabu beat off competition from other Silverbacks Ishmail Wainwright and Robinson Opong.
“This award is special, it comes at a time when there has not been so much sports action,” Enabu said.
“We just came back from a campaign in Egypt where we represented very well. To receive this award after a campaign like that is something I cannot take for granted.”
