Mbale Heroes Joyous After Museveni’s Bus Pledge

Mbale Heroes, formerly Kiboga Young FC, are in jubilant mood after President Museveni promised the team a new bus.

Museveni made the pledge during his presidential campaigns on Wednesday ahead of the Elections next year.

The Incumbent met youth leaders from Bugisu Subregion at Mbale SS grounds where he encouraged the youth to get involved in modern means of work.

Mbale Heroes chairman, Cliff Mwambu delivered the message to the Mbale Heroes fraternity: “Ladies and Gentlemen, this evening a team of prominent leaders from Bugisu region met HE the president led by your chairman.”

“He has pledged to give our team a bus immediately after elections.

“He also accepted to take up a complete repair of the stadia in Uganda in the next five years.”

Many onlookers have rubbished the pledge, commenting that Museveni is using the team to garner votes but Mwambu is confident that the bus will be delivered.

Museveni gave the Bus to SC Villa and recently to Kitara FC.

Mbale Heroes, formerly Kiboga Young, missed out on the promotional slot to UPL after a loss to Kitara in the final in Njeru.

The club has since appointed Scottish Steven coach Pritchard to steer the club forward ahead of the FUFA Big League 2020/21 season.
