KCCA FC assistant captain Julius Poloto says that his side’s target is a place in the quarter finals of CAF Confederation Cup.
KCCA FC leant their CAF Confederation Cup fate following the draws conducted in Cairo Egypt on Monday.
The side received a bye at the Preliminary round and will face a winner between Orapa United (Botswana) and Association Sportive de Kigali (Rwanda) on the second preliminary round.
The first leg will be played on December 22-23, 2020 before a return leg on January 5-6 next year.
“We are happy as a team to know that we are to play As Kigala or Orapa United from Botswana,” Poloto told KCCA FC Media.
“We are still having our preparations as we started long time. We have so many targets this season, we have to win the league, we have to win Uganda Cup, we have to make it to the quarter final of CAF Confederation Cup and every player knows the ambitions of the team.
“Every one knows the importance of every games.”
In 2017, KCCA FC finished third in group A with nine points, three behind Club Africain but level with FUS Rabat who had an advantage of goal difference, in CAF Champions League.
Last season, KCCA FC clashed out of the CAF Champions League Qualifiers in the hands of AC Paradou prior to the group stages after a 4-1 defeat on aggregate and the side fell to Otoho in the subsequent Confederation Cup tie.
