Uganda’s representatives at this year’s CAF Inter Club competitions will learn their fate tonight.
The draws for CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup will be conducted tonight, Monday November 9 in Cairo Egypt.
Vipers, who were declared 2019/20 UPL champions will represent Uganda in Champions League.
KCCA will selected for Confederation Cup duties after finishing second in UPL, after Uganda Cup was declared null and void.
KCCA FC is among the 13 clubs that have been exempted from the preliminary round and will join the competition at the first round which will be played in December/January.
Other clubs that have been exempted from the Confederation Cup Preliminary round include Etoile Sahel (Tunisia), RS Berkane (Morocco), ES Setif (Algeria), Pyramids (Egypt) and Orlando Pirates (South Africa) among others.
Vipers on the other hand, will start their Champions League journey at the Preliminary round where they will hope for a favourable draw for a place in the second round.
It should be noted that the 16 teams eliminated from the 2020/21 CAF Champions League Second round, will enter the play-off round of the CAF Confederation Cup.
