FUFA President Moses Magogo has urged SC Villa fans to register as the sleeping giants move to earn Community club status.
SC Villa opened their fans registration on October 30 at Sheraton Hotel, and Magogo was among the fans who registered on the first day.
To join the Villa Member Trust, each fan is required to pay Sh50,000.
“It is therefore paramount that every SC Villa fan registers to become a member of the VILLA MEMBERS TRUST. Please tell a friend,” Magogo is quoted on FUFA website.
“With proper marketing and communications strategies, SC Villa will become the richest Ugandan Club again signing the best professionals and talents as Managers, Coaches and Players in Uganda and region around.”
The Villa Members Trust will give birth to the Club Congress then the Club Executive and the Club President.
The record 16-time league winners have not tasted league title since 2004.
They have won the Uganda Cup and Cecafa Cup nine and three times respectively.
