Uganda Premier League record winners SC Villa have kicked off the membership registration process.
The club’s loyal fans have beaten the morning rain to throng Sheraton hotel’s Rwenzori ball room where the event is ongoing until an official launch on a date to be communicated later.
The registration is intended to turn the 16-time league winners into a Community club.

Each fan pays Sh50,000 to be registered to be inducted into the new Villa Members Trust.
The registration fee is paid via Mobile money with data about the fan including Name, Date of Birth, location etc captured.
The fan receives an instant message on his phone confirming the registration.
Many club fans, including former CEO Ivan Kakembo and Villa Presidential aspirant Farouk Meywa have embraced the registration process.
For every registered member, he/she shall hold a season ticket but above all vote for the Club President.
