Uganda Premier League side Vipers SC have confirmed the acquisition of Congolese striker Manzoki Cesar Lobi.
Manzoki joins Vipers after ending his spell with Congolese side AS Vita.
He has been cleared to for the 2019/20 UPL Champions and has put pen to a two-year contract.
“I am so happy to be here, I want to use this chance well. My dream is to become an important player for Vipers. I hope I can become a starter immediately and hope win some trophies with my new team,” Manzoki is quoted by Vipers website.
“I hope I can push my career further. My goals are that simple. I don’t regret this move because it took me time to make this decision to move here. I chose the best team out of the many clubs that were after me and I am proud of it.”
He is the second international to join Kitende after the club unveiled South Sudanese Joseph Dhata.
He has featured for TP Mazembe, Dauphin Noir De Goma.
Manzoki will be boost Fred Kajoba’s attacking options after the club sold Fahad Bayo in Israel while Steven Mukwala was let go after his contract expired.
Dissan Galiwango, Ibrahim Orit and David Bagoole are some of the other new signings for the Venoms.
