Former Uganda Cranes defender Simeon Masaba has joined URA FC to boost their coaching team, the Tax collectors have announced.
Masaba was linked to a move to UPDF FC since leaving Onduparaka FC at the end of last season.
He returns to URA FC, a team he played for in 2010.
Masaba joins URA FC’s dugout under Sam Ssimbwa, with Bbosa Lutalo, Steven Billy Kiggundu and Augustine Nsumba as the other coaches.
URA FC has won the Uganda Premier League four times but have not tasted triumph since winning the trophy in 2010/11 season.
The side finished 5th with 40 points last season and have added new signings – Arafat Galiwango, Davis Ssali, Hannington Ssebwalunyo and Jackson Nunda – to mount a challenge next season.
