*Kitara 0-0 Kataka (7-6)
*Kiboga Young 3-1 Ndejje University FC
Kiboga Young beat Ndejje University to seal a place in the FUFA Big League playoffs final.
Kiboga, who have changed name to Mbale Heroes, needed to fight from down before winning comfortably 3-1 at FUFA Technical centre in Njeru.
Pre playoffs favourites Ndejje University led through Sula Tumusiime from the spot before halftime but failed to hold on.
Jamal Buchochera scored an equaliser in the 51st minute, Brian Olega headed in seven minutes before Sula Wambede slotted in the third.
Kiboga will now face Kitara FC in what promises to be a pulsating final on Wednesday, to determine who will play in the Uganda Premier League next season.
Kiboga were second in Elgon group behind MYDA FC with 17 points when the league was ended prematurely due to Covid19 pandemic.
The loss sends Ndejje University FC packing back to Luwero as they wait for another attempt next season.
Ndejje will feel hard done by FUFA, after lodging in their complaints over ‘wrong interpretation’ of rules by FUFA when determining the teams to achieve direct promotion.
