Uganda Premier League side Onduparaka FC has confirmed their seventh signing as they intensify preparations for the upcoming season.

The Caterpillars have on Tuesday signed striker Gabriel Matata who joins on a one-year renewable contract.

Matata graduated from Onduparaka’s Youth team in 2018 and returns to the club from regional league side Mvara Boys.

Recently, Onduparaka unveiled Augustine Akoch, Jasper Okello, Nelson Opio, Jerry Jakisa, Kennedy Atibuni and Bony Musema.

Matata captained Mvara Boys where he was the Top scorer in the regional league in 2018/19 season. He scored 14 goals in 10 games in 2019/20 season and guiding the side to a round of 32 Uganda Cup.
