Wakiso Giants assistant coach Richard Wasswa has reportedly returned to Vipers but the Purple Sharks have no knowledge of the situation.

Unconfirmed Reports have it that Wasswa has been re-appointed at Kitende as the Youth team coach for Vipers and St Mary’s SS.

“We are unaware of those developments, he has not written to us. He is still contracted with this club,” a Wakiso GiantsFC official told The-SportsNation.

New Wakiso Giants FC head coach Douglas Bamweyana chose to work with Wasswa as his assistant following the appointment last month.

Bamweyana, then, said that he shares a lot with Wasswa in values, beliefs and philosophy as coaches.

It is said, that Wasswa has not talked with Bamweyana about his possible return to Vipers SC.

The return to Vipers will see Wasswa pay Wakiso Giants FC his three months salary monthly for dishonouring his contract.
