Isaac Mwesigwa: Express FC CEO Assures Fans

Express FC CEO Isaac Mwesigwa has assured fans that glory days are going to be revived as the side prepares for 2020/21 season.

Mwesigwa is the second club official to promise fans after Club Chairman Kiryowa Kiwanuka recently.

The Red Eagles, formed in 1957, have not win a league title since 2011/12 season.

They have not added to their 10 Uganda Cups since 2006/7 season as well and survived league relegation two seasons back.

Mwesigwa has based his assurance following the club’s new signings, and has added that they are still adding more players before season kickoff in October 17, 2020.

He told the club website:

“The fans from the feedback on the social media platforms are really enjoying the ride and we are not done yet but that said,

“Fans should be patient as we’re rebuilding skillfully with a purpose of reviving the glorious days at Wankulukuku and with their support, the good times will be revived”

The Red Eagles have signed goalkeepers Cryspus Kusiima and Denis Otim, Richard Bbosa and Abel Eturude.
