Uganda Premier League side Police FC have announced the signing of Arnold Ssembuya in a bid to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season.
Ssembuya joins Police FC after helping UPDF FC earn UPL promotion last season. He joins Abdallah Mubiru’s side on a three-year deal.
“I feel good joining Police because its one of the best teams in Uganda. I’m promising to work hard for the best.”
He becomes the seventh signing for Police FC after Eric Ssenjobe, Hassan Muhamood, Sammon Oloka, Muwadda Mawejje, Tom Ikara and Tonny Mawejje.
Ssembuya won the Masaza Cup with Buddu, scoring one of the penalties after normal time against Gomba in the 2016 finals.
He also captained Kyebando in Regional league.
Police FC CEO Fahad Lumu says that Ssembuya’s experience will help us “revamp and improve” the team.
