Video: Remembering Nunda’s Wonder Strike Against Onduparaka

Attacking midfielder Jackson Nunda and KCCA FC have parted ways after a stint of five years.

Despite his few appearances due to injuries, the former SC Villa player will forever be remembered by most fans for his wonder goal against Onduparaka on September 19, 2017.

Nunda, coming off a long lay-off, replaced Allan Okello in the second half before producing a touch of a genius in the 85th minute.

With the game 2-0 thanks to goals from Derrick Nsibambi and Rashid Mohammed (O.G), Nunda was well positioned to receive a headed pass from forward Patrick Kaddu.

His second touch freed him from defender Norman Saddam, and with goalkeeper Nicholas Sebwato coming out with a wide wingspan, Nunda produced a fake shot with his left foot to send the goalie reeling on the turf before sliding the ball with his right to the back of the net.

KCCA FC coach Mike Mutebi and other staff were seen in wild celebrations as Nunda wheeled away before he was joined by Paul Mucureezi and Kaddu in the corner flag.

Tito Okello made it four while Rashid brought one back for the visiting team in a 4-1 classic victory.
