Pius Kaggwa has joined Wakiso Giants
Wakiso Giants have signed former Synergy FC winger Pius Kaggwa from Police FC, its official.
Wakiso Giants have said in a statement that Kaggwa has joined on a three-year contract with an option to extend for a further year.
He is the second signing for the Purple Sharks in the ongoing transfer window after midfielder Ibrahim ‘Owen’ Kasule.

“I am excited to be joining one of the best clubs in the country at the moment. I have had some great time at Police and would love to thank the management, former teammates and my coaches for turning me into the player I am today,” Kagwa told the club.
“There is still a lot to learn for me but am ready for the challenge and can’t wait to get started.”
Pius Kaggwa has for long been admired by Wakiso Giants club president Musa Atagenda and the transfer was said to be in pipeline since last season.
Last season, Kagwa scored four league goals including a late winner against Wakiso Giants in October 2019.
With his gifted pace, creativity and eye for goal, he will be an integral figure for coach Douglas Bamweyana as the side seeks to make their second stint in top flight count.

The Purple Sharks were 10th with 30 points when the league was stopped last season due to the novel Covid19 pandemic.
His addition is a boost for an attacking armoury that is led by Viane Ssekajugo, Hassan Ssenyonjo, Geoffrey Sserunkuma, Karim Ndugwa among others.
Kaggwa leaves Abdallah Mubiru’s Police FC that has already added Tonny Mawejje, Hassan Muhamood and Eric Ssenjobe.
