Tanzania top tier Mtibwa Sugar FC and Kenyan giants AFC Leopards have joined the race to sign defender Bernard Muwanga.

Muwanga has reportedly been on a wish list for Fred Kajoba and he has been linked to Kyetume FC as well.

He featured for Proline FC half of the 2019/20 season on loan before rejoining his mother club Bright stars for the last half.

He joined KCCA FC in 2018 where he penned a three-year contract but things didn’t workout for the defender despite winning a league tittle in his first season for the club as well as playing in the CAF Champions group stages.

Muwanga who can also operate as a defensive midfielder, played for SC Villa from 2016 to 2018.
