Afande Jackson Bell: Renown Football Administrator Passes On

Football administrator Afande Jackson Bell Tushabe has been pronounced dead in the wee hours of Tuesday morning.

Col Bell, as popularly known, was last year promoted to Brigadier but has been battling illness for the last years before passing on due to multiple organ failure.

He was the owner of the defunct Uganda Premier League team Victors FC that won the 2008 and 2010 Uganda Cup.

He was the former vice president in charge of Competitions and served as the chairman for Super Division Clubs Association (SDCA) as well.

He also participated in the war that brought President Museveni into power in 1986.
