Betway Power Player Lands Lucrative Deal In Malawi

Betway Power guard Amin Mkosa has joined Malawian giants Bravehearts, this website has learnt.

Mkosa, a Tanzania International, played a vital role as Power reached last season’s semis before they were ousted by UCU Canons.

He averaged 7 points and 3 rebounds, and his addition strengthens Bravehearts who are preparing to play in FIBA Africa Club Championship next year.

“I am very excited and I am just waiting for the Malawi government to lift the ban on sports so that I link up with my new teammates,” Mkosa told Malawi Times.

“I promised Mr. Kalua that I will join his team because it was my dream to play for Bravehearts.”

Mkosa is a direct replacement for Wishes Kakomo whose deal expired and returned to Zimbabwe.

Their ladies team has also signed Tanzania’s Olyn Londo from Don Bosco Lioness of Dar Es Salam.

Bravehearts, based in Lilongwe, have won the the Central Zone Basketball League champions for the last three years.
