Sebastien Migne: Former Kenya Coach Leaves Equatorial Guinea

Former Kenya Harambee Stars coach Sebastien Migne has parted ways with Equatorial Guinea.

The Frenchman leaves his role barely a year since he was appointed by the West African nation.

Equatorial Guinea has decided not to renew Migne’s contract that was meant to expire this month.

He has lost two 2021 AFCON qualifiers games against Tanzania (2-1) and Tunisia (1-0) during his stay in Equatorial Guinea.

The tactician leaves Equatorial Guinea at rock bottom of group J with no point, a group that also has Libya.

Migne, 47, who has had stints with Congo, Syria and Oman, was sacked by Kenya in August 2019 after the side failed to qualify for CHAN despite leading the side to 2019 AFCON.
