Women Super League: Lady Doves Appoint New Coach

Women Super League team Lady Doves have appointed Fred Musiime as the new interim head coach.

Musiime replaces John ongodia who also replaced Oliver mbekeka in 2019.

The club announced the immediate changes in the technical bench via the document released on their website on Wednesday.

The statement reads:

“The club has appointed Mr Fred Musiime as interim head coach for period of 75 days ending on 16/8/2020 when a head coach will be appointed.

“Mr Rajab buyinza has been appointed on a 2 year contract as an associate head coach of the club.

The new technical bench has been mandated to re organise scout, model and beef lady doves squad with ability and agility to compete in season of 2020/2021 and beyond.”

Lady Doves was in the third place with 13 points before FUFA decided to declare the fufa women super league null and void.

Under Ongodia, the Masindi based side won four and lost three of the eight league games.

The club failed to win a single trophy after reaching two finals against She MUK in Fufa Women Cup and against Ucu In Fufa Women Elite League season of 2018-2019 under coach Mbekeka.
