Masaza: More Dilema At Busiro As Deal To Sign Kiwanuka Falls Through

Another Deal for Busiro to acquire coach Paul Kiwanuka ahead of the Masaza cup has fallen through, The-SportsNation sources have been told.

Last year’s finalists Busiro were set to appoint Kiwanuka ahead of the 2020 Masaza Cup.

Sources say that Kiwanuka talked with Busiro officials but the deal has failed to materialise due to inadequate funds.

“The money was used to pay some players so they told Kiwanuka to wait for the payments and since then he is yet to get anything,” a source said.

It is also said that Kiwanuka turned down the offer as he looks to join Kyadondo who have big spender and new funder Moses Mayanja.

Last year, Busiro were under coach Deo Sserwadda as they reached the finals where they lost to Bulemeezi at Namboole.

Kiwanuka was coach of Busiro in Masaza 2017 and 2018.

Recently, Busiro were to unveil Simon Peter Mugerwa before the deal fell through a day before he was set to be unveiled.

Busiro have turned their focus on former Ssingo assistant coach Felix Ssekabuza.
