Uganda U17 Girls National team coach Ayub Khalifa has revealed his final squad that will travel to face Tanzania for the first leg of the second round of the 2020 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup qualifiers.
The team, posted on FUFA Website, has been trimmed from 25 to 18 players.
Uganda eliminated Ethiopia in the first round after a 5-1 aggregate win.
The team will depart Entebbe Airport on Friday afternoon, aboard Uganda Airlines.
If Uganda negotiate past this tie after two legs, they will face the winner between Cameroon and Sao Tome and Principe for a slot at the World Cup finals in India later this year.
Tanzania will host the first leg on Sunday, 1st March in Dar es Salaam before a return leg in Kampala in two weeks’ time.
