Hosts SC Villa will be looking to complete a league double against Onduparaka when the two sides meet at Namboole.

Villa beat Onduparaka 3-1 in the reverse fixture at Greenlight with Fahad Badiro, Faisal Muwawu and Emmanuel Kalyowa on target for the Jogoos while Julius Malingumu scored for the Carterpillars.

If this comes to pass, it will be Villa’s second league double over Onduparaka, which they achieved in the 2017/18 season.

Onduparaka beat Villa home and away last season with Rashid Toha’s freekick enough to fetch a 1-0 win at Namboole.

The Jogoos, coached by Edward Kaziba are third on the log with 37 points and will seek to close gap atop. A win will send Villa to just five points behind second placed KCCA.

The side, coming off a laboured win against Kajjansi United in Uganda Cup, is expected to recall Yayo Lutimba after the left back was on bench at Wankulukuku.

Villa are unbeaten in their last four league games since a 1-0 loss to Busoga United in Namboole and will fancy their chances against sixth placed Onduparaka.

The Carterpillars who will be celebrating a ten-year anniversary soon, lost to 10-man Express and Vipers in their last league games.
