Busoga United FC president Diana Hope Nyago has revealed that the club is yet to receive money on Joel Madondo’s transfer.
Madondo joined Morocco’s Wydad Casablanca in a four-year deal.
While appearing on NBS’ the score on Sunday, Diana Nyago lifted the lid:
“We have not earned any money from the deal yet but when this comes through, I will let you know. Unlike other clubs, Busoga is not an economic venture.”

The striker who started training last week, is expected to fetch about USD 100,000 in transfer fees.
“We never lost Madondo, because when players leave, we feel more energised and it becomes a motivation for other players on the team to do more,” Nyago added.
“We have many able young good players like Lawrence Tezikya who has filled the boots well.”
