Busoga United team has been involved in an accident, club’s communication department confirmed in the wee hours of Wednesday morning.
The club bus, carrying players and other staff, was on its way back from Arua after a 2-1 loss to Onduparaka on Tuesday at Greenlight Stadium.
No casualties reported after the accident that happened at 3:00AM at Migera.
“An oncoming truck lost control while trying to avoid a UPDF truck that had earlier been involved in an accident and abandoned on one side of the road,” Fred Mwambu, Busoga United media department said.
“The trailer nearly rammed onto our bus but the driver pulled aside and fell by the roadside.”

Nelson Mandela’s goal was not enough as Busoga United suffered their first league loss in the new year.
Julius Malingumu and Rashid Okocha were on target for the Carterpillars.
Busoga United will face BUL FC at home in the Jinja derby this Saturday at the Mighty Arena.
