*Kyetume 0-2 KCCA FC
*Onduparaka FC 2-1 Busoga
*Proline 2-1 Police
*Tooro United 1-1 URA SC
URA FC coach Sam Ssimbwa attributed his side’s draw with Tooro United to a poor pitch.
Tooro United managed to hold URA FC 1-1 on Tuesday in a league game played at St Paul Seminary in Fort Portal.
Michael Birungi put Tooro in the lead in the 54th minute but Charles Musiige dragged Tooro back level 10 minutes later on.
“Am pleased with the performance though we did not get the win that we wanted,” said Ssimbwa. “This team beat us in the first round and we didn’t have some of our dependable players like Ojera and Joseph Mandela today.”
“The pitch was not conducive for us, it was very bumpy, we could not play the way we were supposed to play.
“We have got a point, let’s build on that. They could have beaten us, this is our bogey side because we never won here last season as well.”
URA FC are fifth with 30 points while Tooro United slipped to rock bottom with 15 points.
URA FC host KCCA in their next league game as Tooro visit Maroons FC at Luzira on Friday.
