Uganda Cup round of 64 tie between neighbours Kajjansi United and Vipers SC will unfold at Betway Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku.
The game was reportedly scheduled to be played at the Uganda Clays ground before a late change.
The sides have faced off twice in a friendly but this will be their first meeting in a competitive setup, and much, including bragging rights will be at stake.
The Venoms, despite being visitors will be the favourites to reach the round of 32 and coach Edward Golola will be fancying a good cup run in alongside league triumph.
Vipers who were knocked out by eventual winners Proline at the quarters last year, come into the game at the back of 1-0 loss against rivals SC Villa.
“It is important to forget what happened last Friday against SC Villa,” Golola told the club website. “We have put that in the past and our focus now is on the task at hand. This is a different game, a different competition and it will be tough.”
“We have to be motivated if we are to go far, this is a knockout competition that gives you no second chance when you fumble, but you have to perform at your best if you want to win.”
To return to winning ways and avoid a shocker, the Venoms will have to do it without captain Halid Lwaliwa who is on a leave after loss of his Mother (RIP).
Brian Nkuubi and Tito Okello will be available for selection but the game might have come so early for roving left back Aziz Kayondo.
