There were ugly scenes at Muteesa II Stadium (Wankulukuku) as Army beat up a female Journalist Bagala Peace Diane.
The scuffle happened after a Uganda Cup match between neighbours Vipers and Kajjansi United.
This was sparked off when a section of Vipers fans who had lost to minnows Kajjansi United tried to attack and insult their head coach Edward Golola.
The army men that are camping at Wankulukuku, intervened to try and stop the chaos by beating upbon everyone! They started off with caining, punching and kicking whoever was nearby.
The SportsNation’s reporter who is also a journalist with CBS FM and BBS TV (terefayina) Peace Diane Bagala was a victim of the circumstances.

Diane, as commonly known by the sports fraternity, was battered by the army men who left her with wounds.
She was caned with an electric wire and was badly kicked at the back!
She was later given protection by URA FC goalkeeping Coach Stephen Billy Kiggundu who later stopped the army from causing severe injuries to the soft spoken journalist.

Vipers SC media officer Kenneth Muwanga, among others, was also hit before he was saved by his athleticism.
Many fans, including the innocents, were also mercilessly beaten.
