Waiswa Debut Waits As SuperSport Fall To Onyango’s Sundowns

Uganda Cranes midfielder Moses Waiswa will continue to wait for his debut with SuperSport United FC.

Waiswa, unveiled on January 12, was unused substitute as SuperSport lost 2-1 to Denis Onyango’s Mamelodi Sundowns.

Dean Furman and Sipho Mbule started in the middle of the park for the Matsatsantsa (The Swanky Boys).

Waiswa was also on bench as SuperSport beat Amazulu 2-0 away at Kings Park thanks to goals from Evans Rusike and Bradley Grobler.

SuperSport will face Chippa United at home on Friday, January 24 and Waiswa is expected to play a part.

At fulltime, Onyango and Waiswa shared a light moment before posing for a photo.

Sundowns, who came into the game on the back of a 1-0 loss to Orlando Pirates, remain second on the log while SuperSport are third.
