*Vipers SC Vs SC Villa – 4PM
(St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende)
Old foes Vipers and SC Villa will meet on match-day 18 of the StarTimes UPL at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende in what promises to be a pulsating affair.
The visitors will be targeting to end a poor run if results that has seen them lose their last three games including a 1-0 home loss to Busoga United.
Vipers on the hand will be hoping for maximum points and consolidate their place atop.
The Venoms have collected 42 points and are outright favourites for the league title this year. Villa occupy fifth place with 27 points.

“We are definitely not thinking that some games are going to be easy. Instead there may be some tension affecting my side,” said Vipers coach Edward Golola as quoted by club website.
“We are not converting enough of our chances in home games. I expect SC Villa to have looked at our recent games and will be a very organised side coming at St Mary’s Stadium.”
The side will welcome back Bobos Byaruhanga, Abraham Ndugwa and goalkeeper Fabien Mutombora after missing the 1-0 win against Kyetume.
Captain Halid Lwaliwa, midfielder Siraje Ssentamu and Bashir Asiku are still sidelined.
Villa Hoping For Another Miracle
Last season, Villa went at Kitende and beat Vipers 3-1 against all odds. Charles Lwanga, Pius Wangi and Joseph Ssemujju were on target for the villa while Tito Okello scored for the hosts.
After a false start in the second round, expecting Villa to beat runaway leaders Vipers in Kitende is a big ask.

However, coach Edward Kaziba is optimistic.
“We have prepared well for the big game. We want to change some changes in the formation so as we can pick a positive result tomorrow (Friday),” Kaziba told The-SportsNation.
The Jogoos will be without Gavin Kizito whose paper work (licenses) has not been finalised while Yayo Lutimba is still injured.
Bashir Mutanda is in contention for a starting place in the team since return from injury.
