SC Villa striker Bashir Mutanda is excited and positive about his return from injury ahead of the 2019/20 StarTimes UPL second round after a long injury setback.
Mutanda, Villa top-scorer last season with 13 goals, last played for the club in October and realistically struggled after his deal to join Botswana club Jwaneng Galaxy fell through.

“I am very excited to be back, it’s been a while,” Mutanda who returned to training opened up with the-SportsNation.
“I visited the doctors who advised me to do exercises which will strengthen my pelvis then I start jogging slowly.”
The second round opener between SC Villa and URA FC on January 7 may come very early for Mutanda who claims that he is ”not yet fit” but is expected to play a big role in the later games.
Ambrose Kirya, Faisal Muwawu, Charles Lwanga, Ronald Magwali and Nicholas Kabonge have been Villa’s fulcrum going forward, helping the club to fourth place on the log with 27 points.
“I have to train so that I can catch up with other teammates and maybe much better. I still feel that if I join them fully, I can add at the attacking force, something which is still lacking,” Mutanda added.
