Kavumba was home for Tooro United, formerly Soana, two seasons back and has also hosted league games temporarily for Mbarara City FC.
Express FC will play their first home league game at Kavumba against Proline FC after away games against Busoga United and Proline.
Other clubs – Tooro United, Bright Stars, SC Villa, Mbarara City and Kyetume – are yet to confirm their home grounds.
Wankulukuku was recently banned from hosting top flight league games on October 30 because it did not meet the minimum standards and consequently, the Red Eagles hosted the remainder of their games at Njeru.
Express FC Chairman Kiryowa Kiwanuka, in June, hinted that the club was planning to enter its new stadium, located Kasanje – Wakiso, by start of new year.
