Rwanda top flight club Rayon Sports has sacked Mexican coach Javier Martinez Espinoza, it’s official.
Javier Martinez has been at the club for three months after he was appointed in September 2019.
“We reached an agreement with the Mexican to terminate his contract as head coach,” confirmed Rayon Sports.

The club confirmed that they will have a friendly with Mukura at Nyanza district on December 24, without Martinez.
The Mexican had replaced Brazilian Roberto Oliviera Goncalves.
This comes in the wake of Rayon Sports’ 2-0 loss on Saturday to rivals APR at Amahoro Stadium.
Lague Byiringiro and defender Thierry Manzi were on target for the military side APR who were reduced to ten men.
The result saw APR remain on summit with 31 points as Rayon Sports dropped to third place with 31 points after the first half of the Rwanda Premier League.
Martinez, 47, had previously coached Vipers SC in Uganda, Juventus (Nicaragua) among others.
