2019 FUFA Awards: Final Three For Player Of The Year Revealed

The 2019 Airtel FUFA awards final three nominees in both Male and Female player of the year categories have been released by Football governing body, FUFA.

Proline’s Bright Anukani and KCCA FC duo Allan Okello and Mustafa Kizza make the cut, leaving out Allan Kayiwa and Shafic Kagimu who had made the top five.

In the Women category, Hassifa Nassuna (UCU), Juliet Nalukenge (Kawempe) and Fauziah Najjemba (Kampala Queens) go head to head.

Kampala Queens’ Fauziah Najjemba and Lady Doves’ Daisy Nakaziro miss out for an event scheduled on December 14 at Speke Resort in Munyonyo.

Ruth Aturo and Moses Waiswa took last year’s honours.

Proline’s youngster, Anukani, helped Proline achieve top flight status as the club got promoted from Big League where he was the MVP. Notably, he was instrumental as they defied odds to win Stanbic Uganda Cup.

Okello and Mustafa won FUFA Super Cup and CECAFA Kagame cup with KCCA FC.
