BUL’s Robert Mukongotya and Vipers’ Edward Golola have been named Pilsner player and coach of October respectively.
The duo take home Sh1M each.
Mukongotya beat Vipers’ Fahad Bayo in a tight race after both strikers scored four goals in October.


The BUL forward put up classic performances – scoring twice against Maroons and one each against KCCA and Tooro United.
“This is a great honour for me, it has been hardword and self belief that has enabled me achieve this. I thank my fellow players and coaching staff, and I hope to score more,” said Mukongotya.

Golola helped Vipers win five out of seven games in October – The Venoms who are top of the log – beat Proline, Police, Express, BUL FC and Kyetume FC .The side were held to goalless draws against SC Villa and Onduparaka.
Golola commended club president Lawrence Mulindwa for an opportunity to return as Vipers’ coach this season and also thanked his technical staff and players for the big performances.
In September, Vipers’ Fahad Bayo and Maroons’ Douglas Bamweyana were the player and coach respectively.
Vipers host URA on Tuesday while BUL visit SC Villa at Bombo.
