Defender John Revita has missed out on the 16-man list to contend for the 2019 Airtel FUFA Awards slated on December 14 at Speke Resort Munyonyo.
Revita who transformed from Beach football to mainstream, stood out for Express FC despite all the woes at the club last season.
His performance saw him earn a place on the national team, and was the hottest cake in the concluded transfer window before joining KCCA FC.
The nomination list saw KCCA FC goalkeeper Charles Lukwago and Proline FC defender Mustafa Mujuzi also miss out.
The organisers have not considered all the players plying their trade abroad including those that played in the league this year.
The coaches and captains of the Uganda Premier League clubs nominated their best five candidates where the list of 16 was drafted.
