Warriors beat JKL Dolphins in the National Basketball League (NBL) game played at Indoor Arena in Lugogo.
Warriors almost squandered a 44-30 halftime lead when JKL won a big third quarter 24-11 to reduce the deficit to just a point going into fourth quarter.
However, Ronnie Mutebi’s Warriors managed to hold on and win the last quarter 26-14 to claim the needed victory.
The Kyambogo team missed Jonathan Kambala, Michael Buzangu, Daniel Gaaki and suspended Amisi ‘Carmelo’ Saidi as the team played with only two bench players.

Mark Opiyo Okidi scored 21 points, Chris Omanye and Stanley Mugerwa added 18 and 13 points respectively. The latter added 10 rebounds to clinch a double double.
Brian Namake (18), Brian Muramba (15) and Jonathan Obukuntang (10) scored in double figures but in a losing effort.
The victory sees Warriors take revenge against they lost to 64-71 on June 3.
Warriors return to winning ways after falling 59-83 and 68-79 to leaders City Oilers and UCU Canons.
Warriors who have 15 and lost four games, are remaining with two games include KCCA men and Falcons.
The loss ends JKL’s six wins in a row. The side had lost five games – The other include KIU Titans, Ndejje Angels and UCU Canons.
JKl last two games will see the team face KIU Titans and City Oilers.
