Express FC chairman Kiryowa Kiwanuka has asked club fans to remain calm as his side remain silent in the ongoing transfer window.
League favourites KCCA FC, Vipers and URA FC have made their intentions known if we are to go with their transfer business.
However, Uganda Premier league sleeping giants Express FC who last won the league in 2011/12 seems not bothered.
“I do understand your anxiety but the silence is purposeful,” Kiwanuka commented as quoted by the club website.
“I request all fans to be patient and get ready for a much better season. We are getting all the parts together so we can unleash a well oiled machine. The Red Eagle shall soar again!!”
Express fans have recently took to social media and other platforms to show their discontent as the club is yet to make a marquee signing.

Their frustration is clearly understandable, they are used to seeing their club winning and are not ready to see another barren season.
The side finished a miserable 10th last season with 10 wins, and as many losses and draws. They have let many of last season’s bunch go including John Revita and Michael Birungi.
Recently, the side lost to a regional league team – Admin FC.
Preparations for the upcoming season remain in shade, the team has been holding training sessions at Busabala One love beach.
The club is rumoured to have finalised deals with Daniel Shabena, Isaac Mweru Doka, Edirisa Kaye among others.
Express FC will kick start their season on the road against one of their boggy side, BUL FC on Friday 30th August at FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru.
