Uganda Premier League (UPL) team Proline FC has named Matia Lule as the new manager.
The club has confirmed the development on Sunday night.
“We are delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Matia Lule as our new Team Manager,” reads a statement posted on Proline FC’s social media pages.
Lule who replaces Shafic Bisaso, begins work immediately and will be assisted by first team coach Baker Mbowa and assistant coaches Luyima Richard and Goal Keeping Coach Swaibu Ssebagala.
Lule comes with vast experience after being an assistant to Coach Sebastien Desabre on the Uganda Cranes. He also coached Entebbe FC, KCCA FC, Express FC and Stand United FC (Tanzania).
His immediate task will be to give the club a good run in the CAF Confederation cup where they will face Malawi’s Masters Security FC in the qualifiers. They will visit the side with a 3-0 advantage.
