Wakiso Giants have signed goal poacher Viane Ssekajugo. The club confirmed the development via their official twitter handle.

The development is a big statement and indicator of how far this club want to reach. He is the second ‘big name’ striker to join after Geoffrey Sserunkuma.

“His name is Viane Ssekajugo! A new purple shark..” reads a tweet.

The goal poacher joins the newly promoted Giants on a three year deal.

The striker was a free agent after his contract at the Arua based side expired.

He joined Onduparaka FC in 2017 from JMC Hippos. He also played for Masaka LC and Saints.

Amos ‘Agogo’ Muwonge, Geoffrey Sserunkuma, Hassan Ssenyonjo, Simon Namwanja, Alex Komakech, Emmanuel Mutebi, Derrick Emukule, Ivan Ssebuguzi and Duncan Sseninde, Ibrahim Kiyemba (loan) are the other new signings for the newly promoted UPL outfits.
