Uganda’s Women Rugby 15s team returns to action on Tuesday after a disappointing start in the Rugby Africa Cup.
The Lady Rugby Cranes were battered 89-05 by hosts South Africa last Friday in the tourney that doubles as the qualifiers for the 2021 Women Rugby cup.
The four-team tourney sees countries play each other once with the top team earn a ticket to the 2021 Rugby World cup in New Zealand.

The second placed side will play a qualifier against a team in South America and thereon.
Against Kenya, Uganda will boost her chances with a victory but a loss will end the faded hopes.
Uganda lost 79-19 on aggregate against Kenya in the Elgon Cup last month but will hope to change fortunes in what realistically looks like a mission impossible.
The side will also hope that Samiya Ayikoru is at her best if they are to cause an upset at the Bosman Stadium in Johannesburg.

After the loss to South Africa, Uganda coach Edgar Lemerigar as quoted by Rugby Afrique noted:
“In the first-half, you could see the element of intimidation from the girls, but in the second-half, they put up a better show in terms of defending and realignment,” he said.
“Yes, going forward we can beat Kenya. We just have to fix the errors which we made against South Africa.”
