Sharp shooter Shaban Muhammed has set his target with the venoms after he put pen on paper on a two years contract.
Speaking exclusively to the-SportsNation.com, the former onduparaka, KCCA FC and Raja Casablanca (Morocco) also revealed that he is aiming for a CHAN spot on the national team.
It should be noted that Shaban had scored 18 goals in the 2017/18 season before he was lured by the Moroccan club. He made a shock return to Kitende last week, where he had made his breakthrough.
“I am happy being with Vipers, I know there is some good competition here but I will do my job of scoring,” the striker said.
“I want to score at least above 15 goals in the league this season and am looking forward to a CHAN slot if given chance on the National team.”
“However, above all, I want to pay this club the trust they have in me by to helping them in winning the titles.”
Shaban had scored 13 league goals with KCCA FC in the 2017/18 season just three behind top scorer then Dan Sserunkuma.
He is expected to team up with Sserunkuma as the pair look to terrorise defences in the 2019/20 season.
However, it remains to be known if coach Edward Golola can handle and turn the ‘big headed Shaban’ as portrayed by many into a valuable asset.
