*Uganda U15 3-0 Jinja SS U17

Uganda’s U15 national team, the Junior Cranes, have upped their preparations for the coming CECAFA U15 tournament set in Eritrea.

The team beat Jinja SS U17 side 3-0 in a practice match on Sunday at Njeru Technical centre.

Goals from Travis Mutyaba, Abbasi Kyeyune and Abdul Nsereko were enough to give the little Cranes a deserved win.

It should be noted that Uganda who entered camp last week, are pitted against Ethiopia, South Sudan and Rwanda.

The team is coached by Jackson Magera who is assisted by Hamza Lutalo and Kiberu Mubarak.

The tourney will kickoff on August 16 to September 16 in Asmara.

The groups

Group A: Eritrea, Kenya, Burundi, Somalia

Group B: Uganda, Rwanda, Ethiopia, South Sudan

Group C: Tanzania, Sudan and Djibouti
