Allan Kyambadde has joined Egyptian team El Gouna FC from KCCA FC on an undisclosed fee.
The attacking midfielder was unveiled on Sunday and this is the latest of developments that saw the player left out of the KCCA FC CAF Champions league squad.
“Uganda National Team winger Allan “The Dictionary” Kyambadde joins El Gouna FC on permanent basis from KCCA FC,” reads a tweet from the Egyptian club.
Kyambadde, formerly at Express FC, Villa and Bunamwaya, was part of the Uganda Cranes team that reached 2019 AFCON knockout for the first time since 1978.
He is one of the many Ugandan Cranes players to sign for Egyptian teams that include Taddeo Lwanga (Tanta SC), Khalid Aucho (El Mikassa) and Abdul Lumala (Pyramids) among others.
He is the other notable KCCA FC player to leave the league defending champions after defender Captain Awany who joined Israel Club Ashdod FC.
KCCA FC has also sharpened with the addition of John Revita, Simon Sserunkuma and Erisa Ssekisambu.
The Lugogo based side also released Musa Esenu and Muwadda Mawejje while Isaac Kirabira had his contract not renewed.
Four players have been loaned out to other clubs for a year each. These are; Goal keeper Tom Ikara to Mbarara City FC, defender Walter Ochora to Bul FC, defender Muwanga Bernard to Proline FC. Goal keeper Hassan Matovu’s stint at Proline has also been furthered by another year.
