UCU Canons beat Our Saviour 100-48 in a Tusker Lite Sponsored National Basketball League encounter played on Saturday at YMCA in Wandegeya, Kampala.

The Canons dominated the proceedings, including a third quarter which they won 27-5 before they sealed a deserved 100-48.

Isaiah Mabeny Ater scored a game high 22 points, David Okello had 15 while David Deng Kongor added 12 points and 11 rebounds for the Canons.

Chuma Fadhil shot 4-4 from the field to reach 10 points, Titus Lual and Jerry Kayanga also weighed in with 10 points each in the victory.

For Our Saviour, Wilberforce Pirwoth (15) and Stephen Wokorach (13) reached double figures in a losing effort.

This is the 15th victory for the Canons who have only lost twice from 17 games when Our Saviour remain the only league team to register a win.

Richard Ongom and Marc Mathe scored 27 and 21 points each in KCCA men’s win over Falcons.

James Okello scored a double double of 25 points and 11 rebounds, Jonathan Egau and Landry Ndikumana added 16 points each in Oilers win.

MUK Sparks’ woes continued with a 30-99 loss to Lady Canons in a game they failed to score double figures in any of the four quarters. Maimuna Nabbosa and Hajjara Najjuko led the way with 20 and 19 points respectively. Sarah Ageno added 17 and 9 rebounds in a one sided affair.
