Newly Signed Ssekisambu Vows To Elevate KCCA To Greater Heights

KCCA FC new signing Erisa Keith Ssekisambu has promised to win trophies with his new club.

Joining after being released by Gor Mahia, Ssekisambu was announced by KCCA FC on Thursday as the club’s first addition.

He had held two training sessions with the club at Lugogo before featuring in a friendly with Sudan’s Khartoum National FC.

“I am glad joining KCCA FC and expect to have my form back at it’s best,” Ssekisambu told this website.

“I am ready to work with my teammates in a bid to keep the winning culture running.”

When asked about his ambitions as a player Ssekisambu added;

“My target is to work hard to see KCCA FC the league trophy and see the club get out of the CAF Champions League group stages.

“As an individual, I plan to rejuvenate my form with the club and also getting back on the national team.”

He is expected to vie for a place in the starting team that has Allan Kyambadde, Mike Mutyaba and the other new signing Simon Sserunkuma.

Ssekisambu putting pen to paper

Ssekisambu has previously played for SC Villa, Express FC, URA and Vipers FC before joining Gor Mahia.

He has won two league titles (2011/12 Express and 2017/18 Vipers). He has three Uganda cup trophies (URA, Villa and Vipers). He was part of Uganda Cranes team that won the 2015 CECAFA.
