Uganda Cranes attacking midfielder Abdul Lumala has been included in Pyramids FC’s squad that will play in this year’s CAF Confederation Cup.
The exciting attacker was announced recently by the Egyptian club as their new signing.
The team coached by former Cranes coach Sebastien Desabre will be making their first continental appearance, and Lumala is set to be part of the club history.

Pyramids was impressed with Lumala’s display in AFCON as he helped the East African side to reach the knockout for the first time since 1978.
Lumala scored 21 goals and 12 assists inn130 games, during his stay in the the Swedish league/competition.

Pyramids who finished third last season, will play Etoile du Congo in a two legged affair – The first leg will be in Egypt.

Other new signings John Antwi, Ahmed Ali, Tarek Taha, Mohamed Atwa, Islam Issa, Mahmoud Hamada and Ibrahim Hassan, have been included in the squad.
