Newly promoted Uganda premier league side Wakiso Giants FC has continued with their preparation ahead of their first season in Uganda top flight league after acquiring the services of Simon Namwanja.

The purples sharks have agreed on a three year contract deal with the left full back,which will keep him at the club until July 2022.

“Simon ‘Simpo’ Namwanja is officially a Purples Sharks,” read Wakiso’s tweet.

“Simpo”,as famously known by football family,as been out of contract at Kenyan’s Wazito FC which he had joined on a one year deal last year from Proline FC.

The former U23(kobs) has previously for Vipers SC,KCCA and Proline FC, among other clubs in Uganda.

Namwanja has now joined new signings like Muwadda Mawejje, Derrick Emukule, Ivan Ssebuguzi and Duncan Sseninde among other who have been brought on board by newly appointed coach Kefa Kisala.
